The Arco FDM 3D printer, Phrozen’s first printer using the FDM technology, combines exceptional speed, multicolor capabilities, and a generous printing area. Designed to achieve superior efficiency, the Arco integrates a rigid structure with advanced near-end extrusion technology, ensuring a high success rate for prints. With a substantial printing capacity of 300 x 300 x 300 mm, users can effortlessly handle multiple sets or larger models simultaneously, making it ideal for both intricate and large-scale projects.

One of the standout features of the Arco is its multicolor capability. The printer supports up to 16 colors through compatibility with the Phrozen Chroma Kit (sold separately) and the PIXUP laminating software. While the Arco is compatible with third-party laminating software for single-material printing, PIXUP is specifically tailored to enhance the Arco’s multicolor and laminating performance.

This combination enables the printer to handle up to 16 materials at once, using up to 4 Chroma Kit modules, each accommodating 4 spools, providing an impressive range of color and material options. The Arco excels in its ability to handle a variety of filaments, including PETG, TPU, and carbon fiber-reinforced composites like PET CF15, with the same ease as standard PLA.

For printing more advanced materials, such as those prone to warping, it is recommended to use the Phrozen PentaShield add-on. This accessory, composed of 4 acrylic panels with metal frames and a metal plate for the back, creates a thermally efficient enclosure that helps maintain consistent printing conditions.

Engineered for speed and precision, the Arco features a Klipper-based system, achieving printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s and accelerations of 30000 mm/s². Its advanced near-end extrusion technology, coupled with a 9.5 torque ratio HGX extruder, dual 18 mm gears, and an all-metal hotend, allows for ultra-high-speed printing. The straightforward all-metal nozzle assembly and disassembly process further simplify maintenance and operation.

The Arco printer utilizes the patented DEP (Direct Extrusion Technology) for producing smooth, flawless prints at high speeds, even with flexible materials like TPU. The printer’s patented cooling system ensures efficient thermal management, while the heat-resistant PEI plate on the printing surface facilitates easy model removal. The heated bed reaches a maximum temperature of 90 ºC, and the nozzle can reach up to 330 ºC, accommodating a wide range of materials.

The automatic leveling ensures precision and quality at all times

With its stable structure, the Arco features a low-gravity base, thick aluminum pillars, and a precise CoreXY structure to minimize layer lines and wobbling. The printer includes fully automated leveling for enhanced precision, repeatability, and reduced risk of human error. PID calibration maintains a stable target temperature, and vibration detection further ensures consistent print quality.
