The PP Print Starter Kit from Raise3D is a set designed to make 3D printing with polypropylene (PP) filament simple, reliable, and reproducible. This kit has been tailored to meet the needs of Raise3D printers (such as the Pro2, Pro3 series, or similar compatible models), providing the essential elements to optimize adhesion, maintenance, and cleaning of the print surface.

At the core of the kit is the P-surface 141, a print surface designed to provide optimal adhesion for PP parts. It typically adheres firmly to smooth surfaces and allows easy removal of printed parts without damage. Alongside it, the P-adhesive 220 is a double-sided adhesive film that helps secure the P-surface to the print bed and ensures its position during printing cycles.

The kit also includes tools to assist in applying and maintaining the surface: the P-roller 621 helps spread the print surface evenly, while the P-wipe 515 and P-cleaner 298 effectively clean the P-surface before and after use, preserving its performance over time. Additionally, the included P-cutter enables precise cutting of the surface or adhesive film as needed.

This PP Print Starter Kit is designed to work optimally with the specific P-filament 721 in combination with Raise3D printers, helping produce PP parts with good adhesion and minimal warping—common challenges when printing this material without the proper equipment.

Pre-cleaning and bed preparation: Before applying the PPprint surface, clean the original bed with a recommended cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to remove dust, grease, or residues from previous materials. A clean surface significantly improves adhesion.
Application of the ‘P-surface 141’: Ensure that the ‘P-surface 141’ is properly positioned and secured with the ‘P-adhesive 220’ tape; this ensures the surface does not move during printing.
Use of kit tools: Use the manual roller ‘P-roller 621’ to uniformly apply the surface on the bed, reducing wrinkles and non-adhesive areas, resulting in more stable prints.
Handling PP filament 721: PP tends to poor adhesion if the surface is not properly controlled; this kit is designed to work with specific profiles and settings associated with PPprint and PP filament, improving process reliability.
Post-use cleaning: After completing a print job, use the specific ‘P-cleaner’ to remove residues and keep the printable surface in optimal condition before storage or reuse.
