The IND6845 resin from Loctite’s engineering resin catalog was developed as an improved version of the 3843 resin. The IND6845 resin offers an exceptional balance of heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 80-85 ºC and notable toughness. This unique combination makes it suitable for manufacturing robust, durable parts with a matte black finish, smooth surfaces and fine details, ensuring high-quality aesthetic and functional results. With excellent impact resistance, boasting an Izod notched strength of 28-35 J/m, IND6845 is an ideal choice for components subject to mechanical stress and wear.

Being free of thermoplastic polyolefin photoinitiator (TPOs) further enhances its suitability for manufacturing environments by improving safety ratings. These characteristics make it a reliable material for demanding applications that require durability without compromising safety standards. IND6845 excels in the industrial, automotive, and consumer goods sectors, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of uses.

It is particularly effective for producing general end-use plastic parts, industrial components, and jigs, tooling, and fixtures. Optimized for DLP and LCD printers, IND6845 requires adherence to printer settings and validated workflows to achieve the specified properties detailed in its technical data sheet (TDS). This ensures consistent performance and the highest quality output for demanding industrial applications. More on the use and post-processing of the IND6845 resin can be found in the Attachments and Usage Tips sections.
