The Rock-Black Stiff resin is a member of Phrozen's portfolio of photopolymers for engineering applications. This material stands out for its multifaceted capabilities in producing resilient, adaptable, and exceedingly accurate functional components characterized by exceptional dimensional stability.
Notably, parts crafted using the Rock-Black Stiff resin boast an impressive thermal endurance, capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 97 ºC. These attributes collectively position this resin as an optimal choice for the additive manufacturing of reliable industrial prototypes and end-use parts.

Once opened, Phrozen Rock-Black Stiff resin must be stored properly to prevent degradation of the resin. To achieve the desired properties, parts 3D printed with Rock-Black Stiff resin must be post-processed. The parts must first be washed in IPA alcohol or any other authorized resin cleaning liquid and then post-cured under UV light. Washing and curing can be done with the help of devices such as the Phrozen Wash & Cure Kit or the Cure XL or Cure Mega curing devices.
