The Flame Retardant FR940 resin in gray is an industrial-grade resin from Phrozen's catalog of engineering resins. This material is distinctive for its excellent flame-retardant attributes, which makes is an ideal material for a wide spectrum of applications, including the additive manufacturing electronic and electrical components, automotive parts, and medical equipment.
The Flame Retardant FR940 resin boasts rapid flame diffusion within an impressive 10-second span, ensuring the safety and practicality of high-temperature 3D printed parts. Rigorously tested against not just baseline safety standards but against esteemed benchmarks within the industry (UL 94 V0 certification and Blue Card), FR940 redefines safety expectations, setting a new bar for reliability in the realm of flame-retardant resins.
The printing profiles for the FR940 resin can be found here.

Once opened, Phrozen FR940 resin must be stored properly to prevent degradation of the resin. To achieve the desired properties, parts 3D printed with FR940 resin must be post-processed. The parts must first be washed in IPA alcohol or any other authorized resin cleaning liquid and then post-cured under UV light. Washing and curing can be done with the help of devices such as the Phrozen Cure & Wash Kit or the Cure XL or Cure Mega curing devices.
More information on the maintenance of Phrozen resins and post-processing of 3D printed parts can be found in the Manual in the Downloads section.
