HARZ Labs is a resin manufacturer with extensive experience in chemicals, especially polymers, developing and producing high quality materials for all types of resin 3D printer technologies (DLP / LCD, SLA, CJP and others).
Industrial ABS is a resin developed for LED-LCD and DLP 3D printers that allows the manufacture of final parts or functional prototypes. Parts made with this polyurethane-based resin, once cured, have mechanical properties that are close to those of injected ABS: high hardness and toughness. In terms of chemical properties, they are similar to those of polyurethane and as strong as those of injected ABS.
Due to its characteristics, Industrial ABS resin is a suitable material for the printing of parts for the automotive industry, among others. This resin offers high precision and is odourless.
One of the biggest advantages is that this resin is compatible with almost any type of DLP LCD resin 3D printer: UniZ, Zortrax, ANYCUBIC, etc.

Once an impression has been completed, the part must be removed from the manufacturing platform with the metal spatula, taking care not to damage the surface of the platform. The part is then immersed in IPA for 6-10 minutes, depending on the colour of the resin and the size of the part, to remove the uncured resin from the outer walls of the part. After this time, air pressure should be applied to the piece until it is completely dry. To achieve the maximum properties that HARZ Industrial ABS can provide, it is necessary to cure the resin for 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 60 ºC (to eliminate internal stresses) in a curing centre (Form Cure) with a wavelength of 405 nm.
Before removing the parts from the manufacturing base, the user must be equipped with a series of safety measures. The use of gloves is recommended to prevent resin and alcohol from contacting the skin. It is also crucial to wear safety glasses for any drops that may arise during the washing of the parts.
