Felfil is an Italian company from Turin that began its activity in 2015 with a Kickstarter Campaign for the Evo extruder. The idea for Evo originated during the founders’ master’s degree in EcoDesign at the Polytechnic of Turin.

The idea was born out of love for 3D printing, curiosity for sustainable options for additive manufacturing, and a drive for innovation.

Making filament from recycled plastic

Since the launch of the Evo extruder, Felfil has added a shredder and a spooler to their product catalog, thus creating an autonomous sustainable recycling set for domestic or in-house use at companies. New filament can be made by shredding various plastics in the shredder, extruding the shreds into new filament with the Evo extruder, and winding the extruded filament straight onto the Felfil spooler.

A sustainability mission

Felfil has as its mission to contribute to circular manufacturing and plastic pollution reduction at a domestic or professional scale, by allowing users to recycle plastic into filament in an easy and affordable way. The Felfil plastic recycling system allows amateur and professional users of 3D printing to do just that at home or internally at the company.
