Matersia NATUR-CORK is a thermoplastic-based composite material that incorporates natural cork and is supplied in pellet form. Biobased compounds have been used in its manufacturing. The inclusion of cork helps reduce its density and lower its carbon footprint. It is a material specially formulated for use in 3D printing equipment fed with polymer pellets (Fused Granular Fabrication or FGF). It is a technical alternative and distinctive, with good processability and a very attractive natural aesthetic for design and product applications.

Advantages of MATERSIA NATUR-CORK:

  • It is a material oriented towards the manufacture of items in the industrial design field.
  • It is an ideal material for transformation into products specified by architects and interior designers.
  • Its finish is glossy and provides a very attractive aesthetic combining naturalness and elegance.
  • It is compatible with 3D printers using fused granular fabrication.
  • It shows very stable behavior in the 3D printing process during extended manufacturing times.

BIOCORK is a composite material incorporating cork and is manufactured from a biobased thermoplastic material that has been produced incorporating plant-derived biomass components. The inclusion of cork also allows reducing its density and lowering its carbon footprint. It is a material especially formulated for use in 3D printing equipment fed with polymer pellets.
