Xtreme Lock offers flawless adhesion for high-temperature materials such as PEEK, PEI, and PEKK, as well as compatibility with common materials like PLA, ABS, and PETG. Its durable formula ensures consistent performance without the need for frequent reapplication, while its easy-to-clean and odorless design respects both the environment and your printing equipment. Additionally, it prevents warping and provides perfect adhesion on diverse surfaces such as glass, carbon, and PEI, eliminating the need for glues or sprays. Advanced materials: Resists temperatures up to 180°C, making it an ideal choice for demanding technical applications.

For low-temperature materials, it is recommended to print below 300°C. Before removing the part, wait for the build plate to cool down. A useful tip is that with materials like PLA or PETG, the part usually releases itself when cooled. If the part remains adhered, apply some water or isopropyl alcohol around the base to facilitate removal. It is important to ensure that the first layer is correctly calibrated, as if it is too close, materials like ABS and PETG may cause chipping or cracking on glass surfaces, even without adhesive.

For high-temperature materials, it is recommended to print above 300°C. In this case, the part should be removed immediately after printing, while the build plate and part are still hot. This is because high-temperature materials shrink quickly when cooling, which can cause cracks on glass surfaces in less than 60 seconds. It is recommended to handle the part carefully to minimize stress caused by cooling. To avoid the risk of cracks, it is ideal to use durable printing surfaces designed to withstand high-temperature materials.

Xtreme Lock is not compatible with Polypropylene (PP).

Usage Tips

  • Verify that the surface is cold before applying the adhesive; do not apply it when hot.
  • Avoid applying multiple layers on the same area with the applicator.
  • Ensure that the first layer is perfectly calibrated. If it is too close, it may damage the surface. With our adhesive, an excessively low Z adjustment is not necessary.
  • ABS adheres extremely well with our adhesive. Apply a thin layer to avoid difficulties when removing the part.

Application Steps

  1. Shake the product: Shake the bottle well before use.
  2. Prepare the surface: Ensure that it is clean and free of residues.
  3. Apply the adhesive: Gently press the bottle to release the product and spread a thin layer with a brush. Rinse the brush with water or isopropyl alcohol.
  4. Let it dry: Wait a few minutes for the adhesive to dry optimally.
  5. Calibrate the first layer: Adjust the height for a perfect application.
  6. Start printing: The adhesive will keep your part securely in place.
  7. Remove the part: Carefully detach the part after printing.
  8. Clean the surface: Use water or isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue.
