The ASA conductive 3D filament from Spectrum stands out as the ultimate material for professional 3D printing projects that require electrical conductivity, high mechanical strength, and durability under extreme conditions. Its advanced composition combines a high-strength ASA polymer with carbon nanotubes (CNT), achieving ultra-low surface resistivity (~40 Ω) and stable electrical conduction in technical parts, electrical prototypes, and functional components.

High-Performance Electrical Properties

The electrically conductive ASA filament enables the creation of high-performance 3D electrical components, optimizing the dispersion of carbon nanotubes to enhance conductivity. Volume resistivity tests show that printing at higher temperatures (up to 290 °C) reduces resistivity, ensuring 3D technical parts with maximum electrical efficiency. This filament is ideal for electrical prototypes, sensors, contacts, and 3D models requiring constant electrical conduction.

UV and Weather Resistance

Thanks to its advanced formulation, the ASA 3D filament provides UV resistance and protection against the elements, making it perfect for outdoor 3D printing. Its mechanical rigidity, dimensional stability, and durability allow for the production of long-lasting technical components capable of withstanding demanding environments without deforming or losing functionality.

Professional Finish and Precision

Parts printed with this filament feature a professional matte finish that hides layer lines, reducing or eliminating the need for post-processing. The presence of carbon nanotubes makes it slightly abrasive, so it is recommended to use hardened steel nozzles or ruby nozzles for precise and consistent 3D prints. Although a heated chamber is not required, using one can improve stability for large parts.

Specialized Technical Applications

The conductive ASA technical filament is ideal for engineers, designers, and manufacturers who need advanced 3D printing materials with high rigidity, mechanical strength, and electrical conductivity. It is suitable for producing:

• Electrical prototypes and functional components
• Technical parts for outdoor and harsh environments
• 3D models requiring maximum dimensional stability and durability

Why Choose This Conductive ASA Filament

Its combination of superior electrical conductivity, UV resistance, mechanical rigidity, and professional finish makes this filament the ideal choice for technical 3D printing, electrical prototypes, industrial components, and high-performance professional projects. The optimization of carbon nanotubes ensures durable, conductive 3D technical parts without compromising precision or aesthetics.

The ASA conductive filament for 3D printing allows the creation of technical parts with high mechanical strength and a professional finish. The recommended extrusion temperature is 200 to 240 °C, and the heated bed should be kept between 40 and 60 °C to prevent warping. The ideal printing speed ranges from 20 to 100 mm/s, with a layer height of 0.05 to 0.30 mm and a wall thickness of 0.40 to 2.70 mm, ensuring precision and dimensional stability.

100% cooling improves the definition of details in complex models. While not mandatory, adhesives can be used to enhance adhesion or prevent warping on large prints. Recommended options include Dimafix, 3DLac, and Magigoo.

The filament should be stored in a dry place, protected from sunlight and humidity, at a temperature of 18-25 °C. When stored correctly, it maintains its properties for up to 24 months, ensuring consistent prints for every project.

Following these guidelines, parts printed with ASA conductive filament achieve efficient electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability, making it the ideal choice for technical components, functional prototypes, and high-performance 3D parts.
