ABS filament is sensitive to moisture, so pre-drying before printing is recommended. Ideal conditions are 80 °C for 8 hours in a dryer or storage in a dry, sealed environment after use, keeping humidity below 20 % RH with desiccant. Drying the material before use ensures consistent print quality and reduces adhesion and bubble issues in printed parts.

For large or high-infill models, ABS may experience warping.
