Despite its modest size, the Seal Lite scanner delivers impressive accuracy, with a precision of 0.02 mm and a resolution of 0.07 mm. It is capable of scanning objects ranging from 10 to 300 mm in size, with a single capture range of 75 x 100 mm. The scanner’s performance is further enhanced by its scanning speed of 10 FPS, equivalent to 100,000 points per second, and it operates optimally within a working distance of 180-280 mm.

Highly versatile

The Seal Lite scanner utilizes advanced blue light technology with a wavelength between 400 and 500 nanometers. This technology projects highly detailed structured light, allowing the scanner to achieve exceptional accuracy of 0.02 mm.

It effectively captures fine details such as small dents, textures, and edges, thanks to its mono texture camera. To ensure stable and clear scans, the Seal Lite is equipped with anti-shake optical lenses, which employ optical stabilization to mitigate unwanted jitter and deliver smooth, continuous scanning.

Designed with versatility in mind, the Seal Lite scanner accommodates a wide range of scanning conditions and materials. Its advanced visual tracking system eliminates the need for markers, while its 9-level light adjustment feature allows for effective scanning under varying lighting conditions, from dark environments to bright sunlight. This flexibility makes the Seal Lite suitable for scanning diverse objects and surfaces without compromising accuracy or detail.

The JM Studio software

In addition to its sophisticated hardware, the Seal Lite scanner integrates seamlessly with JM Studio software, a proprietary tool from 3DMAKERPRO. This software, which comes with lifetime free OTA updates, provides comprehensive features for multi-mode data acquisition, high-definition preview, texture mapping, and 3D model generation.

The JM Studio software allows for extensive editing of the scanned model

JM Studio supports exporting files in various formats such as OBJ, STL, PLY, and ASC, enabling users to further edit, refine, render, or print their 3D models with ease. Furthermore, JM Studio is available for mobile devices, enhancing the scanner’s portability and usability when used with the Power Grip gimbal (sold separately) or compatible accessories such as tripods and multiaxis turntables.

System requirements

The Seal Lite scanner is compatible with both Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and MacOS 12/13 operating systems. For mobile devices, it supports Android 10 and later versions, as well as iOS 15 and later versions. The minimum computer requirements include an Intel Core i5 8th generation processor, 16GB of RAM, and an MX250 GPU with 2GB of VRAM. For optimal performance, the recommended setup features an Intel Core i7 8th generation processor, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA 3060 GPU with 4GB of VRAM. These specifications ensure that users have the necessary computing power to handle the high-resolution scans and detailed 3D models produced by the Seal Lite scanner.

Models ready for 3D printing

The Seal Lite 3D scanner is well-suited for a variety of applications, including hobby and DIY projects, miniature collections, and board games. Its ability to capture detailed 3D models and export them for 3D printing simplifies the workflow from scanning to production.
