Despite its small size, the Seal scanner offers exceptional performance with a remarkable accuracy of 0.01 mm and a resolution of 0.05 mm. It is engineered to scan objects as small as 10 x 10 x 10 mm, with a single capture range of 56 x 100 mm, and a scanning speed of 10 FPS, equivalent to 100,000 points per second. The scanner operates optimally within a working distance of 100-200 mm.

Highly versatile

The Seal scanner employs advanced blue light technology with a shorter wavelength of 400 to 500 nanometers, projecting finely detailed structured light. This technology ensures an impressive 0.01 mm accuracy, capturing even the most intricate features such as small dents, textures, and edges.

What's more, the Seal scanner features anti-shake optical lenses, which utilize optical stabilization to eliminate unwanted jitter, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted scanning. The scanner’s texture camera enhances the realism of 3D models by capturing them in 16,777,216 vivid colors with exceptional contrast.

The device is versatile, allowing for scanning in various lighting conditions and on different materials without the need for markers thanks to its advanced visual tracking. It includes a 9-level light adjustment feature to accommodate dark colors and bright sunlight.

The JM Studio software

In addition to its technical prowess, the Seal scanner integrates seamlessly with JM Studio software, an exclusive tool from 3DMAKERPRO. This software, which comes with lifetime free OTA updates, offers comprehensive capabilities for multi-mode data acquisition, high-definition preview, texture mapping, and 3D model generation.

The software supports exporting in multiple file formats including OBJ, STL, and ASC, facilitating further editing, refining, rendering, or printing of the scanned models. Additionally, JM Studio is available for mobile devices, enhancing the scanner’s portability when used with the Power Grip gimbal (sold separately) or compatible accessories such as tripods and multiaxis turntables.

System requirements

The Seal 3D scanner is compatible with both Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and MacOS 12/13 systems. For mobile devices, it supports Android 11 and iOS 16. The minimum computer requirements include an Intel Core i5 8th generation processor, 16GB of RAM, and an MX250 GPU with 2GB of VRAM, while the recommended setup features an Intel Core i7 8th generation processor, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA 1060 GPU with 4GB of VRAM. These specifications ensure that users have the processing power needed to handle the high-resolution scans and detailed 3D models produced by the Seal scanner.

Models ready for 3D printing

The versatility and precision of the Seal 3D scanner make it an ideal choice for a variety of applications, including hobby and DIY projects, miniature collections, and board games. Scanned models can be directly imported into laminating software for 3D printing, offering users a straightforward workflow from scanning to production.
