Microporous forming bed - My Yard

My Yard offers professional but accessible vacuum forming solutions with their Formart S, Formart 2 and Formart SE intelligent and compact machines. Vacuum forming is a thermoforming process wherein a heated sheet of plastic is stretched over a mold and then vacuum is applied to draw the sheet tightly against the mold's contours, shaping it into the desired form. Sometimes, however, the plastic sheet can break due to the elevated forming pressures.

In order to prevent that from happening, My Yard has developed this A4-sized (250 x 157 mm) microporous forming bed compatible with all Formart machines. With a pore size of 1 mm, the microporous forming bed facilitates uniform air pressure distribution and aids in the removal of moisture or gases from the sheet material. As a result, the risk of PP and LDPE sheet breakage is significantly reduced.
