Ideal for removing resin residues from parts made with the 3D SLA printer.

Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is the ideal liquid to clean the remains of liquid resin deposited on the surface of a piece made in a resin 3D printer (SLA, LCD, DLP). After each impression made with resin 3D printers (SLA, LCD, DLP) the pieces have a surface layer that doesn't It has completely solidified, that's why a bath in isopropyl alcohol is necessary. The interaction of the alcohol with the resin in liquid state releases it from the solid part without creating any deformation or damage in the pieces made.

Whether you use the wash basin of the Finish Kit, the Form Wash or the squeeze bottle (included in the Finish Kit) you must use the IPA alcohol to clean the resin 3D printer (SLA, LCD, DLP).

When cleaning polycarbonate or acrylic surfaces, such as the cover of resin 3D printers (SLA, LCD, DLP), this alcohol or other cleaning products based on ammonia shouldn't be used as it's very likely that they cause damage. For these areas it's recommended to use special cleaning products for plastics such as Novus 1 in combination with PEC*PAD Wipes. The IPA alcohol can also be used to clean resin spills, but first it's recommended to ensure that it doesn't damage the area to be cleaned. For that, a small test must be carried out in a corner to check whether or not it affects the surface to be cleaned.

Isopropyl alcohol is a colorless, flammable alcohol with an intense odor and very miscible with water. As it's a flammable element with an intense smell, it should be stored in a ventilated area, dry and away from sources of heat, sparks or flames.

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) should be handled with the minimum safety equipment (gloves and safety glasses), in a ventilated place and free of possible sources of ignition. Once the alcohol of the wash bucket or the Form Wash is saturated with resin, all the liquid must be changed, never filling in larger ones. The saturated liquid must be removed by a company specialized in the treatment of residual chemical liquids. For users who produce large quantities of residual isopropyl alcohol, it's recommended that they acquire a solvent recycling system, which distills the solvent by separating the pure alcohol from the resin residues. With these systems you save money, time and all the polluting emissions necessary to produce isopropyl alcohol.
