The Phrozen Wash Mega S washing station is a large format device with a washing container capacity of 25 liters. The technology used in Wash Mega S is a double-vortex effect with two rotating speeds: 275 rpm and 300 rpm. What's more, the direction of the rotation is reversed automatically every minute for an even better performance. Thanks to this advanced cleaning system the parts are cleaned fast and thoroughly.

The Wash Mega S is easy to use and the water remaining after the cleaning process can be drained easily thanks to the draining valve integrated into the device. The Wash Mega S is compatible with the following sizes of build plates: 12.8", 13.3", 13.6", and 15" (featured in the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K or Sonic Mega 8K S).

The large capacity of the Phrozen Wash Mega S station allows for a quick and convenient washing of large batches or big models, allowing for faster lead times and increased overall efficiency of the resin 3D printing workflow.

In order to ensure user safety and correct operation, the manufacturer provides a few usage tips:

  1. Ensure personal protection: When operating the machine, prioritize your safety by wearing the necessary protective gear. This includes protective goggles, gloves, masks, and long-sleeved clothing to shield yourself from potential hazards.
  2. Disconnect power before maintenance: Always disconnect the power source before performing any cleaning or replacing the alcohol (or cleaning fluid). This precaution is essential to prevent electrical accidents.
  3. Responsible liquid handling: Under no circumstances should you pour resins or any liquids other than alcohol (or cleaning fluid) into the machine's cleaning bucket. This helps maintain the equipment's integrity and functionality.
  4. Prevent skin contact: To safeguard against potential allergies and skin irritations, avoid direct contact with the machine's components and the materials used in the operation. Properly using gloves and clothing is vital.
  5. Operate in suitable conditions: Utilize the machine in an environment that is cool, dry, and well-ventilated. This not only ensures the best performance but also minimizes the risk of inhaling fumes. Prolonged exposure to fumes or contact with eyes, skin, and clothing should be avoided.
  6. Do not remove prints during operation: It is crucial to refrain from removing prints from the machine's bucket while it is still in operation. Wait for the machine to stop completely before retrieving your printed items.
  7. Fire and explosion prevention: Be aware that the product may contain a significant amount of alcohol or IPA solvent. To prevent potential fire and explosions, keep it away from high temperatures and ignition sources, such as open flames, heat sources, or sparks. Exercise extreme caution when handling these substances.
