Insublend is a material manufactured by Nanovia, a French manufacturer of filaments and 3D printing products specialised in offering technical products. Insublend pellets enable the creation of insulating and weather-resistant parts.
With the combination of Insublend Pellets and a good filament extruder such as Filastruder, it is possible to obtain 3D printing filament with qualities similar to those of commercial filament.
When using Insublend Pellets to make filament with a filament extruder such as Filastruder or using a pellet extruder for direct 3D printing, it should be noted that the extrusion temperature must be regulated in relation to the extrusion speed used.
Its resistance to alkalis, acids, bases, ionic solutions and alcohol make it an ideal material for batteries, electronic equipment, prototypes and industrial use.
Among the advantages of this material are its resistance to UV rays and oxidation, it is certified as non-flammable V-0 UL94 and is electrically insulating.
