Anycubic is a well-known manufacturer of 3D printing equipment and one of the most popular brands on the market. Their FDM 3D printing equipment stands out from the rest in terms of cost-effectiveness and ease of use, making them some of the most popular models in the field.
Anycubic Kobra Max emerges as the advanced version of the Anycubic Kobra and differs from it in its Bowden-type extruder, carborundum glass bed, filament sensor and dual Z-axis.
Anycubic Kobra Max has a particularly large print volume: 400 x 400 x 450 mm, ideal for printing large parts.
Anycubic Kobra Max uses the LeviQ automatic calibration system. This ensures accurate 25-point alignment that corrects for bed irregularities. The process is very simple: the end of the fuser is lowered onto the printing surface and measures the distance in a grid of dots across the bed. The result of this calibration, together with the even distribution of heat across the bed, results in a flawless first layer and a product with no distortion in any direction.
The maximum printing speed of the Anycubic Kobra Max is 180 mm/s. Therefore, the printing time will be reduced compared to other models that are not as fast. In addition, the dual Z-axis reduces vibration during printing and ensures smooth and stable operation.
This translates into quieter printing, a feature in which Kobra Max excels thanks also to the fact that both the Z-axes and the bed have independent motors that provide much greater stability in each dimension.
The carborundum (silicon carbon) glass build plate ensures the best possible adhesion to the bed and easy removal of the model. The printing platform can be used regularly without loss of performance.
Anycubic Kobra Max features an automatic filament sensor (right at the entrance of the Bowden extruder), which ensures that printing is paused in case the filament runs out or breaks.
All this without losing any of the work already done at any time. After re-inserting the filament, printing can simply continue. Anycubic Kobra Max is compatible with a multitude of filaments and is able to process materials with smooth and even finishes.
Thanks to its modular design, the Anycubic Kobra Max printer is designed to be set up in less than 30 minutes. The process is very simple as the two largest parts (base and bridge) already have the rest of the elements pre-assembled, so the user only needs to screw the bridge to the base, attach the beams to the bridge, connect the cables and fasten the bed with clips. The process is extremely intuitive for anyone who has handled a 3D printer before and affordable even if this is the user's first machine.
Anycubic Kobra Max features a bright and easy-to-use 4.3-inch LCD touch screen that ensures a very simple 3D printing process.
Ideal for both beginners and advanced users, the Kobra Max is the perfect printer if you are looking to print very large parts. Accuracy, speed and stability are some of its defining characteristics and thanks to the automatic calibration and adhesion of the bed, the resulting objects have a high quality finish that reinforces the wonderful value for money of this printer.
As this is a printer with such a large print volume, it is recommended to adjust and fine-tune the appropriate parameters in the cutting profile to reduce energy consumption. If large parts are to be printed in a shorter time, the use of larger nozzles should be considered, as Anycubic Kobra Max has a universal nozzle with a diameter of 0.4. However, when using a larger nozzle, the user should be aware that this will result in a slight decrease in the level of detail.
The user can download the laminator software for Windows and OS X and the driver here.
Due to the nature of this product, should the user require support for this product, we may have to refer the user to the manufacturer. In addition, 3D printers sold in kit format do not have a guarantee of operation, as it depends on the correct assembly by the user.
