E3D Hemera is one of the most advanced extruders on the market, with an extrusion system developed from scratch. With the Hemera XS Bowden V2 extruder the Hemera family is expanded by a compact extruder with all the advantages of the Hemera extruder but with a reduced weight and size, updated components, and overall improved performance.

The most crucial feature of Hemera XS Bowden V2 is that it is optimized for short Bowden setups. Firstly, the extruder has a lighter 3D printed faceplate instead of the iconic heatsink design. The reason for this is that the most frequent setups with Bowden extruders have the extruder mounted directly above the hotend, thus creating a short Bowden path. In this scenario, the heatsink is redundant and adds unnecessary weight. The Hemera XS Bowden V2 has its weight reduced by 18 %  thanks to the changed heatsink design.

Another important change is the lack of the Bowden Adapter. Thanks to this modification, the Hemera XS Bowden V2 extruder is 12 mm shorter (10 % reduction). This helps maximize build volume and diminishes the space used by the extruder.

The Hemera XS Bowden V2 extruder works best with Revo Micro or Revo Voron hotends. Upgrading your 3D printer with the lighter and more compact Hemera extruder with a Bowden setup will ensure efficient and compact 3D printing.
