KeyPrint is a line of light-cured polymers for the dental sector developed by KeyStone Industries. The rich KeyPrint resin portfolio offers materials for various dental applications, including the biocompatible KeyDenture Try-In resin for the 3D printing of try-in dentures. Try-in dentures are intended to evaluate bite registration and occlusion for fully and partially edentulous patients.
The KeyDenture Try-In resin is a cost effective solution for try-in dentures. It is free of MMA (methyl methacrylate), BPA (bisphenol A), and phthalates. The 3D printed parts are characterized by exceptional surface quality and can be polished to high luster.
For increased customer satisfaction, KeyPrint resins are compatible with many open-architecture resin 3D printers. The KeyDenture Try-In resin can be used with printers such as the Phrozen Sonic XL 4K dental 3D printer and many more. The full compatibility chart can be consulted in the Downloads section.
The KeyDenture Try-In resin is designed to deliver precision and efficiency, and make the denture fitting process accurate but also as comfortable for the patient as possible. The obtained biocompatible short-term trial dentures can be used for evaluation of fit, occlusion, esthetics, and phonetics during try-in appointments. Furthermore, the three available colors allow not only for achieving a great physical fit but also an aesthetic compatibility, increasing patient comfort.

The KeyDenture Try-in resin should always be stored in a cool, dry place (15-30 °C) and away from light, as it may cause curing of the resin and failed prints. Before using the resin, the user should thoroughly study the product instructions, safety datasheet and technical datasheet available in the Downloads section. Proper personal protective equipment should be worn at all times when handling the KeyDenture Try-in resin and uncured printed parts to avoid burns and other injuries. Protective gloves and garments as well as face protection should be used.
Parts 3D printed with the KeyDenture Try-in resin require post-processing in order to perform their function. The parts should be washed twice in a clean IPA alcohol (>97% purity) bath for 30 seconds each time, and then for 2-3 minutes in an ultrasonic bath, just like shown in video 1. Once washed, the parts should be dried with compressed air. Any residual resin will become shiny and highly noticeable, and should be removed completely by repeating the bath and drying process. The total IPA alcohol exposure should not exceed 5 minutes as the parts may start to degrade.
As far as curing, the recommended curing parameters can be consulted on the manufacturer’s website.
