Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM), also known as Liquid Deposition Modeling (LDM) is an additive manufacturing process in which a variety of liquid materials is precisely deposited layer by layer to create highly intricate and detailed three-dimensional object. The Moore 1 3D printer by Tronxy was designed specially to 3D print clay and ceramic materials in liquid format, including (but not limited to) clay, ceramics slurry, red porcelain, and other liquid flowing materials.
The Moore 1 printer stands out due to its compact desktop size (355 x 252 x 370 mm, 7.5 kg), making it suitable for both professional and personal use in households, design offices, educational institutions, pottery workshops and more. Its family-friendly features ensure safe and easy operation, allowing users of all ages to explore their creativity with confidence.
The printer arrives almost completely assembled and is ready to use out of the box. The package includes all the indispensable components and and accessories, and the detailed list of items can be consulted in the Manual in the Downloads section. The broad range of compatible materials enables users to experiment with different textures and finishes, expanding the possibilities for artistic expression and functional design. For more advanced manufacturing needs such as bigger build volumes, enclosed chambers or automatized feeding, please consult the Tronxy product catalog.
In terms of technical specifications, the Moore 1 printer offers a build volume of 180 x 180 x 180 mm, providing ample space for creating medium-sized objects. Its reducer ratio of 1:7.5 ensures precise control over the extrusion process, resulting in accurate and consistent prints. With a layer thickness ranging from 0.3 to 3.0 mm (0.5 mm standard), a printing speed of 10-40 mm/s, an external dual-axis roller guide, and an XYZ positioning accuracy of 6.25 x 6.25 x 1.25 μ, the Moore 1 printer delivers reliable performance and exceptional print quality for a wide range of applications.
The printer features a nozzle size ranging from 1 to 3.0 mm, a detachable printhead for easy cleaning, and electric push rod and screw extrusion system for efficient material deposition. The screw feeding device features a very silent operation and a 0.5 L material deposit, offering replaceable and adjustable synchronous feeding. This innovative system ensures user comfort and allows for convenient adjustments while accommodating various printing needs.
The Moore 1 ceramic and clay 3D printer offers unparalleled ease of use, catering to both novice and experienced users alike. Compatible with popular slicing software such as Cura, Slic3r, and Simplify3D, as well as supporting the most common .STL and .OBJ file formats, the Moore 1 printer ensures seamless integration into existing workflows. Its user-friendly interface, featuring an intuitive 3.5-inch TFT color touch screen with support for eight languages, facilitates effortless navigation and control powered by Marlin.
Compatible with Windows operating systems, the printer boasts advanced features such as resume print functionality, safeguarding against interruptions due to power outages. Connectivity options are versatile, including support for U-disk, TF card, and USB data cable, enabling flexible and convenient file transfer methods.
With its combination of smart, compact and intuitive design, comprehensive software compatibility, and robust connectivity options, the Moore 1 printer streamlines the 3D printing process, making 3D printing with clay and ceramic materials accessible and efficient for users of all profiles and skill levels. The wide range of usable materials makes it possible to make pottery at home, in the classroom or in a small workshop, and use a microwave as a kiln to further post-process the 3D printed objects by glazing.
On the Tronxy YouTube channel the user can find numerous useful resources on how to use and maintain the Moore 1 3D printer and its components, as well as on how to prepare the clay for printing, how to know the right viscosity of the material, and much more.
In the Downloads section the user can find the Manual, in which topics such as technical specifications, configuration, component maintenance and troubleshooting are discussed.
