The Water-Washable resins from the Phrozen portfolio of quality 3D printing materials were specially designed to be easily cleaned by water, without the need for IPA alcohol or other resin cleaning solutions. The Water-Washable resins print fast and deliver sturdy, durable and accurate prints with excellent detail, ideal for all kinds of models and miniatures. The ease of use and post-processing make this material highly recommendable to beginners in 3D printing. The Phrozen Water-Washable family of resins includes the Model Gray resin, the Rapid Black resin and the Dental Model resin.
These two resins are very easy to use thanks to their low viscosity and low odor during printing. The fact that Model Gray and Rapid Black are water-washable makes the post-processing workflow much easier and more affordable.
The Model Gray and Rapid Black resins are ideal for hobbyist that want to print high quality miniatures in a straightforward printing workflow, as well as for the purpose of printing models and prototypes. The Model Gray and Rapid Black resins deliver tough and resilient parts that are not fragile.
The Water-Washable family of resins also contains the Dental Model resin, a low-viscosity and low-odor material ideal for the 3D printing of dental models, crowns and bridges. Just like Model Gray and Rapid Black, the Dental Model is water-washable, which makes it easy and safe to handle even in office environments, providing comfort for both patients and practitioners.
The Dental Model Resin shows an incredibly high accuracy when scanned and compared with the actual STL file, with more than 90 % of variation with ±0.05 mm tolerance. This makes it a reliable material perfect for the 3D printing of detailed diagnostic models, implant analog models, crowns and bridges, and models with removable dies. Furthermore, the Dental Model resin stands out due to its speed of printing and minimal shrinking during post-curing.

Once opened, Phrozen Water-Washable resins must be stored properly to prevent degradation of the resin. To achieve the desired properties, parts 3D printed with Water-Washable resins must be post-processed. The parts must first be washed in water and then post-cured under UV light. Washing and curing can be done with the help of devices such as the Phrozen Cure & Wash Kit or the Cure XL or Cure Mega curing devices.
More information on the maintenance of Water-Washable resins and post-processing of 3D printed parts can be found in the Manual in the Downloads section.
