Speed resin Phrozen
In certain applications, such as industrial prototyping or the 3D printing of large parts, printing speed is of utmost importance. The Speed resin from the Phrozen portfolio of standard resins is specially formulated to print up to 8x faster without sacrificing resolution and surface quality.
The Phrozen Speed resin is a grey resin characterized by low viscosity and great dimensionaly stability, like all Phrozen resins. Phrozen Speed is capable of printing huge models within 6 hours. This significantly reduces printing time to less than 6 hours for 24 cm models and puts the Phrozen Speed resin ahead of standard prototyping resins available on the market.
The fast printing speed not only shortens printing time but also significantly increases productivity and allows for same-day modifications. The Phrozen Speed reisn has a wide range of potential applications, for example in the making of life-size cosplay props, masks, prototypes, shoes, or landscaping projects such as tabletop wargaming terrains.
Once opened, Phrozen Speed resin must be stored properly to prevent degradation of the resin. To achieve the desired properties, parts 3D printed with Speed resin must be post-processed. The parts must first be washed in IPA alcohol or any other authorized resin cleaning liquid and then post-cured under UV light. Washing and curing can be done with the help of devices such as the Phrozen Cure & Wash Kit or the Cure XL or Cure Mega curing devices.
