  1. Select the appropriate adapter according to the tool to be used (standard blade, premium blade, deep-cut blade, Kraft 2 mm, or Silhouette pens).
  2. Insert the tool into the adapter first, then place the assembly into the machine's tool holder (carriage 1), ensuring it is securely fixed.
  3. Check tool compatibility before use, as the kit is designed to allow tools from previous models to be used on machines like Portrait 3 or Cameo 4.
  4. Select the correct tool type in the software (Silhouette Studio) so that the machine uses the appropriate speed, pressure, and depth parameters.
  5. Perform a test cut or drawing before working on the final material, especially when using blades or tools that are not original to the model.
