Description

The Makera L-Bracket is designed to provide secure and consistent support during CNC operations, adapting to different types of materials. The thin version is ideal for lighter or thinner workpieces, providing stability and reducing vibrations in tasks that require detailed precision. It mounts to the Carvera machine using two 4 mm locating pins and three M5 screws, with the option to add extra screws in the semicircular openings on the lower-left corner for additional support. This configuration ensures a firm grip, especially effective when combined with Makera top clamps, guaranteeing smooth and precise cutting paths on materials up to 2 cm thick.

On the other hand, the thick version of the L-bracket is intended for bulkier or denser materials. Its robust design minimizes vibrations and keeps the workpiece securely held throughout the process. It is also mounted using two 4 mm pins and three M5 screws, although longer screws are required for this version compared to the thin model. For optimal performance with materials over 2 cm thick, it is recommended to combine it with Makera side clamps, ensuring a firm hold and consistent results.

Both versions of the L-bracket are compatible with the Carvera and Carvera Air models, offering flexibility depending on the material type and task complexity. Using the appropriate version with the recommended accessories ensures stable workpieces, reduces unwanted movements, and achieves precise, repeatable machining results.
