In FDM 3D printers, an activated carbon filter effectively absorbs the VOCs emitted during printing with materials such as ABS, PC, PA, and others. With the help of the filter, these volatile compounds accumulated in the build chamber are filtered from the air before they are expelled outside, thus creating a healthier printing environment.
