Cables for Raise3D (PRO2 Series)

Raise3D is a global FDM 3D printer brand that is dedicated to developing and manufacturing multi-purpose, easy-to-operate printers. The Raise3D Pro2 Series consists of two robust, multi-material, electronically driven dual extruder 3D printers that are easy to use. The two 3D printers differ in their printing area: Raise3D Pro2 (305 x 305 x 300 mm) and Raise3D Pro2 Plus (305 x 305 x 605 mm).

Due to the constant head movements, the cables that communicate the extruders with the control board suffer from high fatigue, which eventually results in communication failures. These failures can be reflected as erroneous temperature readings, extruder movement failures, filament sensor failures, etc.

The extruder connection cable (RAISE-PRO2-CABLE-RIBBON) is an original replacement cable for Raise3D Pro2 series printers (Pro2 and Pro2+). Although its replacement is laborious and requires partial disassembly of the 3D printer, it can be done by the end user as long as he/she carefully follows the guide available in the download tab.

In addition, the printer must be switched off and disconnected from the mains before replacement. 

The safety clip for the extruder connection cable (RAISE-RIBBON-PRO2-SECURE-CLIP) is a spare part for the Pro 2 and Pro 2 Plus 3D printers. It is attached to the back of the 3D printer and helps to keep the extruder connection cable securely in place. The use of the safety clips will prevent the extruder connection cable from getting caught by the print bed.

The replacement of the connection cables requires partial disassembly of some elements of the printer, so it is recommended to carefully follow the usage tips on the Raise3D help website.
