Raise3D is one of the leading manufacturers of FDM 3D printers and accessories. From the beginning it has been committed to offering high quality 3D printers, with innovative components and operating systems, always maintaining a suitable sales price for the majority of professional users.
Fans are an essential component of hotends. There are generally two types: the layer fan and the cooling fan.
While the layer fan is in charge of cooling the extruded filament and the piece, the cooling fan is responsible for eliminating the heat from the dissipator and keeping the cold zone different from the hot zone in the hotend.
Raise Pro2 and Pro2 Plus hotends have a layer fan in each hotend. This fan is the same in both hotends, however the duct that supports this fan is available in two versions: one compatible only with the right hotend and another compatible with the left one.
The Pro2 series 3D printers share the same system to cool both hotends, consisting of the cooling fan and the cooling fan support.
The Raise E2 has a different layer fan in each hotend. It is important to select the right model, as the cable length is different in each case. Despite having different fans, the duct is the same for both.
In the case of the cooling fan, the E2 also has a different one for each hotend, and as with the layer fan, it is important to select the right model. The cooling fans are directly attached to the Printhead structure without the use of additional supports.
