Replacement fans for Raise3D hotends
Raise3D is one of the leading manufacturers of FDM 3D printers and accessories. Since its inception, it has focused on offering high-quality 3D printers with innovative components and operating systems, while maintaining a sales price suitable for most professional users.
Fans are an essential component of hotends. Generally, there are two types: the layer fan and the cooling fan.
While the layer fan is responsible for cooling the extruded filament and the part, the cooling fan is responsible for removing heat from the heatsink and maintaining the cold and hot zones in the hotend separate.
The hotends of Raise Pro2 and Pro2 Plus feature a layer fan on each hotend. This fan is the same on both hotends, however the duct that supports this fan is available in two versions: one compatible only with the right hotend and another compatible with the left.
Pro2 series 3D printers share the same system to cool both hotends, consisting of the cooling fan and the cooling fan bracket.
The Raise E2 has a different layer fan for each hotend. It is important to select the correct model as the cable length differs in each case. Despite having different fans, the duct is the same for both.
For the cooling fan, the E2 also has a different one for each hotend, and as with the layer fan, selecting the correct model is important. Cooling fans attach directly to the Printhead structure without additional brackets.
The Pro3 and Pro3 HS series include specific layer and cooling fans, as well as brackets. Model and front fans must be selected according to the hotend side and printer model, while fan side covers ensure efficient and safe airflow.
In the case of the E2 layer and cooling fans and the Pro2 layer fan ducts, there are different versions for the right and left hotends. It is important to select the right one for each hotend.
