Black carbon powder used as a laser absorber in the preparation of powders for desktop SLS printers. This powder is mainly used in processing used HP PA powder to make it compatible with Sinterit Lisa X printers. A 250 g package is enough to recycle up to 35 kg of HP PA powder.

Black carbon powder can also be used as an absorber in the development of experimental materials compatible with printers using diode or fiber lasers with NIR wavelengths, such as Lisa X, Fuse 1+, or RMS220.
