PLA Galaxy is a premium PLA filament for 3D printing, formulated with glass microspheres that generate dynamic reflections and a brilliant surface texture. This filament from Bambu Lab offers a uniform glossy finish, ideal for creating models with high visual aesthetics and defined details. The combination of mechanical strength, ease of printing, and striking visual finish positions it as one of the best options within the universe of PLA filament for FDM 3D printers.

Designed for those who demand quality and performance, this filament maintains a tolerance of ± 0.03 mm, ensuring smooth and stable extrusion. PLA Galaxy is ready for complex prints, offering high layer adhesion, good retraction behavior, and compatibility with the most popular FDM 3D printers on the market.

Its aesthetic is one of its great differentiators: the glossy finish is achieved thanks to glass microsphere additives, which act as internal reflectors, creating a metallic or pearlescent appearance on each piece. This effect makes the printed models visually appealing from any angle.

The PLA Galaxy filament is compatible with AMS and AMS Lite systems, which allows for its efficient use in printers with automatic material management. To get the best printing results, it is recommended to avoid using 0.2 mm nozzles, as the glass microsphere content can affect extrusion with extremely small diameters.

To preserve the filament's quality and performance, it is important to keep it in a dry environment when not in use. In case of prolonged exposure to moisture, it is recommended to perform a drying process before printing. The optimal drying conditions for PLA Galaxy are 55 °C for 8 hours. This step helps maintain smooth extrusion, prevent bubbles or inconsistencies, and preserve the mechanical and aesthetic properties of the material.

For more detailed information on filament drying, you can consult the official technical guide available on the wiki of Bambu Lab. Technical and safety data sheets can also be consulted under the Attachments tab.
