Fiberlogy CPE HT
The CPE HT filament by Fiberlogy is a modern copolyester that stands out for both its high mechanical strength and its resistance to high temperatures. A member of the polymer family that includes filaments like PETG and PCTG, CPE HT excels in its ability to withstand temperatures of up to 110°C, making it an ideal choice for applications that require high durability and thermal stability.
The CPE HT filament can be used for printing utensils and dishware that will come into contact with food (only the translucent white version). It is BPA-free, BPS-free, and styrene-free, as well as being odorless. Its great chemical resistance and ability to withstand other common degradation conditions, such as dishwasher use or chemical or UV sterilization processes, make it perfect for industrial applications beyond home use.
The CPE HT filament shares features with polycarbonate (PC) filaments, such as strength and resistance, but is easier to use in the 3D printing process. This makes CPE HT a great alternative to traditional polycarbonate filaments.
The Fiberlogy CPE HT filament is an excellent choice for various 3D printing applications that require high thermal resistance and durability. In the home, it is used to create food containers, reusable dishware, and other products that can withstand high temperatures without losing quality. It is safe for the whole family and is ideal for children’s items like toys and baby accessories.
The resistance of the CPE HT filament makes it perfect for the manufacture of appliance housings, spare parts, and water filters, withstanding extreme conditions such as heat or exposure to chemicals. CPE HT is a reliable option for utility and functional projects in both the home and industry.
Due to its strong adhesion to the print bed, it is not recommended to print directly onto its surface or glass, as this may cause damage. It is recommended to use masking tape.
