This device not only ensures precise measurement, but also facilitates the integration of this data into advanced workflows, such as HueForge.

Co-developed by two giants in 3D printing technology, BIQU and AJAX, the TD1S is the result of a strategic collaboration that combines both companies' expertise and knowledge in innovation and precision. Together, they have created a solution capable of meeting the most demanding needs of creators, designers, and engineers, ensuring unprecedented print quality.

Transmission distance measured to the millimeter

Thanks to its advanced optical technology, the BIQU AJAX TD1S calculates the exact distance that light must travel through the filament to achieve the desired opacity. With a precision of ±7.5%, this device becomes the ultimate ally for those seeking full control in multicolor prints, translucent effects, and photorealistic finishes.

Accurate color without guessing

The detection system of the BIQU AJAX TD1S captures the exact hexadecimal color code of the filament, creating a precise digital record. This information allows for consistent color reproduction across different material batches, ensuring uniformity and reliable quality in every project.

Direct integration with HueForge and future compatibility

Its direct connection with HueForge automatically integrates TD and color data into the workflow, eliminating variations and manual errors. The result: printed models with the intensity, depth, and fidelity envisioned in the design. Future support is also underway for Orca Slicer and Mainsail, enabling real-time integration of color and transmission data directly into slicing software and printer interfaces, without extra steps.

Two modes for two workflows

In Quick Capture Mode, the device measures transmission distance and color within seconds—perfect for quickly characterizing new filaments. In Continuous Capture Mode, monitoring is ongoing, allowing you to supervise the material throughout the printing process or during spooling for storage.
