The TPU 95A HF from Bambu Lab is a filament designed for those who want to print flexible materials at high speed without sacrificing quality. This “High-Flow” version of TPU 95A maintains elasticity, impact resistance, and shape recovery after deformation, while allowing much higher speeds than conventional TPU. It is ideal for parts requiring flexibility, durability, and shorter production times.

The material includes a reusable high-temperature spool, 1.75 mm diameter with a tolerance of ±0.03 mm, and is prepared to withstand humid environments if properly dried and stored. Printing with hardened nozzles of 0.4, 0.6, or 0.8 mm is recommended to ensure durability, as fibers or additives used may cause abrasion. It has limited compatibility: it is not compatible with AMS or AMS Lite systems, which should be considered if automated filament changing is expected.

To achieve optimal finish and stable performance, these are the typical suggested settings:

  • Remove moisture before use: about 8 hours at 70 °C; store the filament in a sealed container with desiccant.
  • Nozzle temperature between 220-240 °C to ensure proper melting without degradation.
  • Moderate heated bed temperature, around 30-35 °C, and use of adhesive if the platform requires it.
  • Considerably high print speed thanks to the “HF” mode, but keep bridges and overhangs within your printer’s limits to avoid warping or collapse.

The most suitable applications for TPU 95A HF include protective cases, gaskets, sports accessories, elements requiring cushioning or flexibility, belts, flexible components under vibration, parts subject to impacts or constant movement. It is also ideal for those who want to print large models with TPU without prohibitive times.

This filament has some important considerations: it is very sensitive to moisture, so drying before use is essential; it is not compatible with some automatic filament changing systems; it requires well-calibrated printers and adequately resistant nozzles. With the right equipment and precise settings, it offers exceptional performance for fast, durable, and functional TPU.
