Thrust force and resolution
The Bondtech QR-M offers the same record level of torque and resolution as the original Bondtech QR extruder.

Compatible with Mosquito hotends
The QR-M extruder is ideal for large 3D printers requiring a direct drive system with Mosquito hotends. It is compatible with:

• Mosquito Magnum
• Mosquito Liquid
• Mosquito Magnum+

Delivered without mount. Available mounts can be downloaded in STL format for printing or purchased directly. The necessary screws and bushings can also be bought separately.

Versatile solution
Available in 4 versions: standard (right) and mirror (left) orientations, for both 1.75 mm and 2.85/3.00 mm filament.

Manufacturing quality
The housing parts are professionally printed in nylon via SLS for maximum strength and precision. Includes a 700 mm cable with quick connectors, default equipped with a JST-PH6 to PC2510 connector; XH4 or Dupont connectors are also available.

Compact power
The QR-M integrates a Nema17 motor with a 5:1 planetary gear reducer and CNC-machined hardened steel gears, providing unmatched thrust and ultra-fast retractions in a lightweight, compact form factor. Ideal for both high-resolution prints and high extrusion volumes.

Dual-Drive technology
The exclusive Bondtech Dual-Drive technology ensures a constant material flow without slipping or wear, even in prints with thousands of retractions. The filament remains intact and undegraded.

Multi-material compatibility
The QR-M extruder reliably feeds all types of materials, from slippery nylons and flexible TPU/TPE to technical fiber-reinforced filaments. It works with 1.75 mm and 2.85/3.00 mm filament, even with diameter variations. The filament path is fully guided to avoid feeding failures.

Adjustable tension
Thanks to the manual adjustment screw, the pressure of the gears on the filament can be regulated, optimizing feeding according to the material type used.

Quick change
To quickly change material, simply operate the quick release lever and remove the filament. Keeping it activated allows easy insertion of new filament.

Bidirectional feeding
The QR-M feeds filament with the same force in both directions, making it highly versatile for different setups.

Ready to use
Each unit is delivered assembled, tested, and verified to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended parameters:
Motor current: 1.2 A
Steps per millimeter (E-steps) configuration: 476.5 steps/mm for 1.75 mm filament, 492.45 steps/mm for 2.85 mm

Notice about E-steps
The indicated values correspond to typical settings with 1.8° step motors and 16-bit microstepping.
- If microstepping is doubled (e.g., 32-bit), E-steps also double.
- If the motor is 0.9° step, E-steps also double.
Ensure to check your printer’s specifications before applying these values.
