HARZ Labs is a Russian manufacturer of 3D printing resins with extensive experience in chemicals. It focuses on the development and production of high quality materials for all types of resin 3D printer technologies (DLP / LCD, SLA, CJP...).

Jewelry J-Cast resin is designed to print mouldable jewellery models for casting of various metals and alloys. It is a material that can be used as an alternative to mouldable wax, i.e. microfusion or lost wax casting, which is one of the most commonly used manufacturing methods in the jewellery industry.

The use of burn-out resins in the jewellery industry offers numerous advantages. Among other things, it makes it possible to 3D print as many models as desired quickly and with extraordinary precision. This results in a significant reduction in manufacturing costs and production times.

J-Cast resin has the properties of casting waxes in that it can be used to print mouldable jewellery and engineering models, such as rings, bracelets, housings, stamps, etc. It produces almost no odour and is suitable for working with even in small workshops or offices as it does not contain monomers that are harmful to health.

Among its advantages, we can highlight its high printing precision and its low shrinkage of less than 0.50%. It is a stable and odourless resin, odourless and non-irritating and can be worked with simply by natural ventilation. In addition, it is easy to melt, the thermoplastic behaviour of the resin allows melting in a wide temperature range (250-300°C).

This resin is compatible with Zortrax, Prusa, Sprintray, Flashforge, Elegoo, Creality, Wanhao or Anycubic resin 3D printers, among others.

Printed parts should be rinsed with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or immersed in an IPA-filled ultrasonic bath for 30 seconds and then manually washed with water followed by IPA. Washing cycles should be performed until the parts are free of liquid resin. Manual washing with a soft brush can facilitate the cleaning process. After 3 cycles, the cleaning process should be continued in a 5% detergent solution so as not to dissolve the surface of the printed part (defects may appear after coating). Afterwards, once the printed parts have been printed, it is recommended to clean them with compressed air and finally dry them at 80ºC for 30 minutes.
