Cleaning should be carried out immediately after finishing the work, as acrylic paint dries quickly. It is recommended to remove excess paint using lukewarm water and a mild soap or a brush-specific cleaner, gently working the bristles until all accumulated paint residue is completely removed.

During washing, it is important to avoid soaking the brushes for prolonged periods, as excessive moisture may affect the ferrule and weaken the bristle attachment. No force should be applied, nor should the fibres be pulled, as this may cause deformation and reduce brush precision over time.

Once clean, it is advisable to remove excess water with a soft cloth and reshape the bristles with the fingers before drying. To prevent deformation, brushes should be dried horizontally or with the bristles facing downwards, allowing water to drain away from the base. They should never be left to dry resting on the tip.

Proper storage is key to preserving the shape and elasticity of synthetic bristles. Once dry, brushes may be stored horizontally or vertically with the bristles facing upwards, in a dry, dust-protected environment.
