The Bio-Med Clear resin from the Liqcreate catalog of biocompatible 3D printing resins is a rigid translucid low odor resin compatible with many resin 3D printers within the 385-420 nm range, including brands such as Anycubic, Phrozen and Creality. Parts 3D printed with this material (if post-processed according to the manufacturer's guidelines) pass biocompatiblity tests for cytotoxicity (ISO 10993-5:2009), sensitization (ISO 10993-10:2021) and irritation (ISO 10993-23:2021). What's more, parts 3D printed with the Bio-Med Clear resin can be disinfected with commonly used disinfectants and subjected to steam sterilization in autoclave at 121 ºC / 134 ºC.

The Bio-Med Clear resin is not only biocompatible and sterilizable, but it also prints parts with high accuracy, low shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability. The combination of all those features makes this material ideal for the 3D printing of safe and precise custom medical devices and aids, as well as custom parts that can be used safely in contact with patients' skin.

It must be remembered that the biocompatibility of the used material, in this case the Liqcreate Bio-Med Clear resin, is not equivalent to the biocompatiblity of the 3D printed part. It should always be made sure that the storage, 3D printing and post-processing guidelines are followed in order to maintain the biocompatibility of the material.
