The MED413 HDT60 Tough resin from the Loctite family of medical resins is a high modulus photopolymer with great flexural and tensile properties available in clear and white. Thanks to the combination of stiffness and toughness, parts 3D printed with this material are perfect for applications where impact resistant medical devices are needed, for example hearing aids.

Parts made with the MED413 HDT60 Tough resin can function at body temperature, can be machined and have an outstanding surface finish. These qualities make this material a user-friendly option and guarantees high levels of patient comfort and satisfaction.

Furthermore, this resin has passed various tests (ISO 10993-5, -10 and -23 standards) that confirm that the material biocompatible and safe for use in medical contexts. It must, however, be kept in mind that the ultimate biocompatibility depends on the correct processing of the material and must be verified for each application.

The MED413 HDT60 Tough resin has been formulated to print optimally on industrial DLP printers. Before printing with this material, the user should read safety and technical information available in the Downloads section. In the Usage Tips section useful resources can be found on printer compatibility, recommended post-processing settings, and proper resin storage.
