The 3Doodler 3D printing pens are a totally innovative product that increases the possibilities of creating and repairing models made by 3D printing.

ABS is a plastic made of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. It is called an engineering plastic because it is a material with superior mechanical and thermal properties compared to conventional plastics, which also means it is more difficult to print.

  • Acrylonitrile provides toughness, high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and stiffness.
  • Butadiene provides impact strength and temperature toughness, especially at low temperatures.
  • Styrene provides additional stiffness and mechanical strength.

ABS strands are a very resistant plastic that easily peels off paper and stencils.

With the 3Doodler Create+ ABS strands you get a matte finish, unlike the PLA strands that leave a much shinier finish. This material is only compatible with the Create+ 3D pen.

Although the plastic comes out of the 3Doodler hot, it does not burn, so you can use your hands to shape the design to your liking.

3Doodler's warranty is limited to 3Doodler-approved plastics, so we do not recommend using filaments from other manufacturers. Also, the curvature of filaments that come in spools will cause irreparable damage to 3Doodlers if they are inserted into the spool, as the feed mechanisms are designed for straight-cut filaments, such as 3Doodler strands.
