Kuraray: Constant innovation

Kuraray, founded in 1924 in Tokyo (Japan), is the world's largest producer of PVOH (Polyvinyl Alcohol). Its products stand out for being cold water soluble polymers (PVA) and for maintaining their shape without problem in environments, with a relative humidity of less than 50%. In addition, it is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and compostable, as it does not contain solvents in its formulation. These properties make Kuraray PVOH ideal for paper and ceramic adhesives, element packaging and especially food packaging.

Mowiflex 3D 2000

The Mowiflex 3D 2000 (PVOH) filament is a cold water soluble thermoplastic material based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). Its excellent solubility in cold water is totally contrary to the moisture absorption power of the atmosphere, giving users a great peace of mind when storing it once the coil has started. The Mowiflex 3D 2000 has a greater structural rigidity than other support filaments (PVA), allowing more solid supports that improve the final surface finish of the piece.
