The story of Tethon 3D began in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2014. This is when the company was founded and started developing their advanced ceramic powders and photocurable ceramic, metal and polymer resins for 3D printing, as well as specialized equipment for the additive manufacturing with those materials. 

The materials and 3D printers manufactured by Tethon 3D find many applications in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, architecture, aerospace, design, fine art, metal casting, and biomedical research. Tethon 3D is a corporate member of the American Ceramic Society and the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts.
