The mechanical performance of rPLA Satin aligns closely with standard PLA, providing a seamless shift to a recycled alternative without compromising quality. With an Izod impact strength of 43 J/m, 10% elongation at break, tensile strength of 55 MPa, and flexural strength of 58 MPa, it showcases excellent durability. Additionally, its flexural modulus of 4800 MPa and softening temperature of 58 ºC ensure reliable performance in high-quality, sustainable printing applications.

The rPLA Satin offers impressive printing benefits in addition to its sustainability. It is compatible with high-speed printing up to 300 mm/s and shows minimal warping or shrinkage, ensuring consistent results. Compatible with multi-material systems, like the Bambu Lab AMS module, this filament accommodates various spool holders and is compatible with popular FDM 3D printers, including the Prusa MK4, Creality K1C, Elegoo Neptune 4 Max, and Bambu Lab A1 Mini. With rPLA Satin, users can achieve both environmental and performance goals in their 3D printing projects.

To achieve optimal print quality with the rPLA Satin filament, it is recommended to set the extrusion temperature between 220-240 ºC, and the print bed should be maintained between 55-65 ºC. A heated build chamber is not necessary, and it is best to keep the cooling fan at 100% to achieve optimal surface finish.

The rPLA Satin filament supports high-speed printing with speeds of up to 300 mm/s. However, when printing at higher speeds, it is crucial to raise the extrusion temperature. To improve bed adhesion, the manufacturer recommends using bed adhesion products such as Magigoo or blue tape.

Proper filament storage is essential for maintaining the quality of rPLA Satin. To prevent compromised print quality due to moisture, the filament should be stored in a sealed container with desiccant. If the filament absorbs excess moisture, drying it at 60 ºC for 6-12 hours in a filament dryer is recommended to restore its optimal printing properties.
