The use of matting sprays is essential even with the most advanced 3D scanners to ensure accurate measurements. AESUB violet is ideal for digitizing transparent parts, where light passes through the surface instead of reflecting, preventing proper detection, as well as reflective surfaces like polished metals or mirrors, which deflect light and complicate data capture. It is also effective for complex geometries with deep cavities, where internal reflections can create artifacts in the 3D model, and in high-precision scans, minimizing variations in color, texture, and reflection to achieve more accurate results.

Its easy application, compatibility with multiple materials, and automatic evaporation make AESUB violet the ideal solution for optimizing 3D scanning in industries such as industrial metrology, reverse engineering, automotive, aerospace, and digital dentistry, ensuring a more efficient, precise, and residue-free workflow.

Application Method

AESUB violet is applied easily:
1. Spray the product from a distance of 15-20 cm using uniform movements
2. Wait for the matte layer to form and dry completely
3. Proceed with the 3D scan and allow the layer to evaporate automatically, with no need for cleaning

This type of 3D scanning spray is ideal for use with handheld 3D scanners such as the Revopoint Metrox or the Revopoint POP 3 Plus.

The AESUB violet spray is extremely flammable, so it is important to keep it away from heat sources, hot surfaces, and any sources of ignition.
