The MIRACO PLUS from Revopoint is an advanced, standalone handheld 3D scanner designed for high-precision scanning with photogrammetric metrology capabilities. The photogrammetric metrology kit relies on photogrammetry, which uses geometric principles to create accurate 3D models from 2D images. This allows the MIRACO PLUS scanner to achieve metrology-grade measurements of large objects like cars, ships, plane parts or big machinery. Combined with the scanner's accurate point clouds, the PMK helps capture high resolution small details on large objects while at the same time guaranteeing high volumetric accuracy.

This capability incredibly useful tool in safety inspections, maintenance and repair, assembly lines, quality control, or industrial design. The set includes four scale bars with targets, 208 sticky coded targets, and 208 magnetic coded targets, completed with standard markers, calibration boards, magic mat, tripod and turntable. Please note that the coded targets sets should not be combined or mixed with coded targets from other PMK sets.

The MIRACO PLUS scanner delivers exceptional performance with single-frame accuracy of up to 0.4 mm (20 % improvement), single-frame precision reaching up to 0.02 mm, and photogrammetric length accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.05 mm per meter. Its fast scanning speed of up to 20 frames per second ensures efficient data acquisition.

The device offers a working distance range of 100 to 1000 mm, with a single capture area varying from 28 x 53 mm at 100 mm to 975 x 775 mm at 1000 mm. It supports scanning volumes from a minimum of 10 x 10 x 10 mm to a maximum of 4 x 4 x 4 meters, while providing an angular field of view of 40 x 30° (near) to 56 x 42° (far).

The MIRACO PLUS scanner is a class 1 infrared light scanner (fully safe for the user), equipped with four cameras in total. A 2x infrared optical zoom and supports both single-shot and continuous scanning modes, offering exceptional versatility across diverse scanning environments and applications. Its structured light projector ensures precise detail capture, while the near-mode depth camera excels in capturing fine surface details.

For larger objects, the far-mode depth camera provides rapid data acquisition. A 48 MP RGB camera enables photorealistic 8K color scans, complemented by a flash LED that ensures optimal lighting for accurate color reproduction. For optimal results it is best to avoid direct sunlight when scanning outdoors, and for challenging surfaces such as dark or highly reflective objects it is recommended to use scanning spray.

The MIRACO PLUS 3D scanner integrates a 9-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to deliver superior accuracy and ease of use. By combining accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer data, it tracks motion and orientation in real-time, ensuring consistent alignment and correcting for hand movements during scanning. This technology enables seamless stitching of multiple scans, stable handheld operation, and reliable navigation in complex or dynamic environments. The scanner offers advanced connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 4.1, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration. It supports multiple output file formats, including PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX, enabling high quality 3D modeling input and ready-to-print 3D models. Compatible with Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 11.0 or later, it operates efficiently with 32 GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB internal storage, and a powerful 5000 mAh internal battery for extended use up to 2 hours. The spacious RAM allows for capturing up to 8000 frames for colors scans and up to 10000 frames for non-color scans.
