When using certain filaments such as filaments with particles or fibres, as well as when changing from one material to another with different printing temperatures, it is highly recommended to use cleaning material to free the inside of the hotend and the nozzle from material residues and thus avoid blockages in the 3D printer.
The cleaning material pellets are small cylinders of the highest quality material and do not contain recycled or reclaimed material.
Thanks to these qualities, cleaning material pellets are perfect for 3D printing, achieving high print quality. There are several methods for using pellets in 3D printing:
With the combination of cleaning material pellets and a good filament extruder such as Filastruder, it is possible to obtain 3D printing filament with qualities similar to those of a commercial cleaning filament. The use of this filament extends the life of the nozzles.
When using cleaning material pellets to make filament with a filament extruder such as Filastruder or using a pellet extruder for direct 3D printing, it should be noted that the extrusion temperature must be regulated in relation to the extrusion speed used. For optimal results, it is recommended to read the product's usage tips.

Once the cleaning filament has been manufactured, it is very easy to use. You only have to take into account the extrusion temperature. Simply heat the extruder 10ºC higher than the temperature of the last material that was printed and extrude a certain amount of filament (>1 metre).
Once the specified amount of cleaning filament has been extruded, the new filament must be removed and loaded.
