Novus 2 is an acrylic cleaner that gently cleans all types of plastics and covers scratches, leaves a tarnish-resistant shine, repels dust and eliminates static charge. It removes fine scratches, discoloured areas and abrasions from a wide range of plastics. With constant use it is the best way to repair plastics and acrylics.

It is an ideal material for removing plastic scratches on 3D printing components but also on cars, boats, motorbikes, plastic windscreens etc. and makes them look like new without filling them, eliminating the scratch.

It is ideal for keeping 3D printing components such as transparent Resin Tank bases in good condition. This product makes them completely free of dust and finger marks, dirt that can deflect the laser of the SLA 3D printer, but above all free of scratches and abrasions.

The following steps are recommended for the proper use of NOVUS 2:

Observe the condition of the surface to be treated. The deeper the scratches, the greater the pressure required to remove them. If the surface is dirty, clean it with NOVUS N 1 before applying NOVUS 2 - 2.
Shake well. Test on an inconspicuous area.
Apply NOVUS 2 generously. Using a clean, soft cloth, polish with a firm back and forth motion at right angles to the scratches. The cloth should be kept impregnated at all times.
When larger scratches have been removed, apply NOVUS 2 evenly in a circular motion over the entire surface, using short, circular strokes and light pressure. Allow to dry to a light haze.
Using a clean part of the cloth, polish the surface. This procedure is essential for best results.
In case of heavy scratches, several applications of NOVUS 2 or the application of NOVUS 3 may be necessary.
