The Kit of 11 Allen keys is the basic tool that every user of a 3D printer should have.

The 11 Allen keys kit is an essential tool for all users of a 3D printer since most of them contain a large number of hexagonal Allen type screws.

In different countries it receives different names, but the most common is Allen key because the trademark Allen Manufacturing Company of Connecticut (USA) commercializes this type of tools since 1943.

The Allen key has many advantages over other types of tools of the same style, especially against philips-type screwdrivers. Its simple and light design in hexagonal shape facilitates both the manufacture of the tool and the head of the screw. The "L" shape of the 11 Allen keys in this kit aids in the tightening and unlocking operation, although a large torque must be applied to the screw. Both this shape and the hexagonal profile distribute the effort throughout the tool, but the force applied to the Allen key must not be greatly exceeded, especially with the smaller ones.

The kit of 11 Allen keys contains the following sizes: 1.27 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm, 4.5 mm, 5 mm, 5.5 mm and 6 mm. All of them made of alloy steel with chrome vanadium, which gives it a high hardness and low wear. In addition, the Allen keys are organized in a folding key holder for easy storage, comfortable and practical perfect to keep the work area organized.

Due to the long arm of these Allen keys and the tip in the form of a special sphere, every user can access any screw, even in situations where the position is not easily accessible.

To avoid damaging the tips of the Allen key make sure you are using the correct size and the correct type. The force applied to the Allen key must not be greatly exceeded, especially with the smaller ones, as this can cause the tool to break or the screw head to wear out.
