The PFA release film, designed by Elegoo for use with their resin 3D printers from the Jupiter and Saturn series, offers a high-performance solution for resin printing. Available in a pack of five, this release film is engineered to meet the demands of high-quality 3D printing, ensuring smooth, consistent results. It is compatible with a range of 3D printing resins, providing superior performance over traditional FEP 1.0 release films. The film’s robust chemical resistance and smooth surface, free of wrinkles, scratches, and bubbles, make it ideal for handling the various materials used in the resin printing process.

A key feature of the PFA release film is its non-stick surface, which prevents resin adhesion and facilitates easier film removal. This ensures that prints come off the release film with minimal effort and without damage, contributing to an enhanced user experience. The PFA film is also durable, offering a 50% longer lifespan than standard release films, with the ability to handle up to 90,000 releases. This longevity translates to reduced maintenance and replacement costs, making it a cost-effective choice for professional and long-term users.

In addition to its durability and non-stick properties, the PFA release film excels in UV light transmittance, allowing resin to cure efficiently. With a transmittance rate of 92-95%, the film ensures uniform exposure to the UV light source, promoting faster and more accurate curing. Furthermore, the film’s UV stability ensures that it can endure prolonged exposure to UV light without degradation, maintaining its performance over time. This makes the PFA release film a reliable and essential component for high-quality, consistent resin curing in the 3D printing process.

  1. Remove the 16 screws to detach the steel gaskets from the resin tank.
  2. Remove the 28 screws to separate the 2 steel gaskets and replace the PFA film.
  3. Put the new PFA film in-between the 2 steel gaskets (assuring the protective film is removed), fasten the 28 screws again and make sure the film is not too tight.
  4. Cut off the extra edges before you install the steel gaskets back to the resin tank and make sure the film is clean and has no scratches.
