When the desiccant in the Drywise filament dryer needs replacing, a notification to change the desiccant cartridge will appear on the dryer's screen. This is when the entire desiccant cartridge must be replaced as it has reached the end of its usability.

This replacement desiccant cartridge from Drywise (2 units) is very easy to install on the filament dryer. The process takes only a few minutes and its is demonstrated in a video by the manufacturer:

If you do not plan to use the Drywise filament dryer for an extended period, take out the desiccant container from the device. The desiccant container is equipped with valved connectors, and once engaged (by detaching from the mating connector), it should effectively safeguard the desiccant from absorbing humidity.
